Book of the month: Boy2girl (terence blacker)

When Matthews crazy American cousin suddenly arrives on his doorstep, it's a big shock for the whole family. Sam is small, blond and wild - with a giant attitude problem - and he immediately starts to wreak havoc on Matthew's social life. Desperate to get their own back, Matthew and his best friends cook up a brilliant, outrageous plot that will humiliate Sam and deal a stunning blow to the b****iest girls at school.
Victory is their. Until Operation Sam runs hysterically out of control...

I've read this book sooooooo many times, and yet it still manages to make me laugh! The author somehow keeps it from getting confusing, even though it is told from everyone's point of view. And when there is the twist halfway through it still shocks me, although because of the multiple narrative I knew it was coming.
A very interesting, funny and well-written book, you should definately read it sometime.

Random Fact of the Week #1

Hello everyone,
Orange Jellybean here.
I just thought I'd take the time to introduce you to a weekly feature that I am going to do for this blog. However, if it becomes HUGELY popular, I will consider doing it once a day...
Anyway, the feature is...
Random Fact of the Week!
I just LOVE reading useless trivia, and I hope others share my passion...
So...
Here it is...
Doctor Seuss invented the word "nerd."

A warm fuzzy glow, and food for the night

Welcome, followers,
Instead of a lengthy introduction of myself, I will introduce you to a favourite charity of mine, freerice.com
This inspiring charity asks you questions, and teaches you things which can help you in life, and for every correct answer, 10 grains of rice are donated by businesses to the Horn of Africa. For 1/2 an hour of your time, I fed at least four hungry people - and I learnt 12 new words! This is a great way to improve your own skills, as well as helping others and giving you a warm fuzzy glow!
Please, all of our followers, go on now and donate some rice - at no cost to yourself!
How cool is that?
Don't forget! Good luck!
Yours randomly,
Orange Jellybean

First appearances don't count

Everybody says make a good first impression, well from now on don't bother. They don't actually do anything.
Take this blog for example. First impression - a blog about jellybeans written by two people with no brains who are always right. Really - a blog about anything written by two very smart people who are always right.
Ok, bad example. But when I first met Orange Jellybean I stole her worry beads (as a joke) and she chased me  round the room till she agreed to make me some. You wouldn't think that would make us best buddies now, would you? Well, now we are!
So next time your mum says dress smart for the first day back at school, like I said don't bother.

Welcome to the world of idiots (not that we're ones of course)

Dear reader,
Welcome, as the title suggests, to the world of the idiots. Namely, the brainless. And, by brainless, just to clarify, we do not mean the type of person who devotes their life to cosmetics. No, we mean the kind of person who is refreshingly different from the norm of, well, normal. The crazy bunch.
US.
So if you are of the devoting kind, instead of devoting yourself to cosmetics, cars, or hippos, devote yourself to this blog and follow us! Also, please note, nice comments please, and if you don't like it, just provide CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not plain hatred. Or, just don't comment, your choice.
So thanks if you could be bothered to read all that, and we promise it will be more interesting next time, yours randomly,
Pink Jellybean and Orange Jellybean
P.S: To clarify, red writing is a shared post, pink is from Pink Jellybean, and orange is from... you guessed it... Orange Jellybean.
